Writer's Digest Poetry Awards! Regardless of style—rhyming,

Submit an unpublished short story up to 5,000 words; open to all writers and all themes. Prizes: $500 and the RRofihe trophy. Deadline: Oct. 15 (postmark).

The Missouri Review Editors' Prize Contest
The 19th Annual Jeffrey E. Smith Editors' Prize offers first-prize awards of $5,000 and publication in the spring edition of The Missouri Review in each of three categories: fiction, essay and poetry. In addition to each first-prize winner, three finalists in each category will be chosen. Deadline: Oct. 1 (postmark).
